tanners hill mews
Tanners Hill Mews is a new picturesque tree lined street sloping gently away from Tanners Hill in Deptford. The mews is clearly and unambiguously defined with a hard edge of buildings.
Public space is well overlooked with the principle rooms having good sized windows facing the street. The building fronts are softened with inset terraces on the upper floors which overlook the streets, which we hope in time will become planted by their owners. The facades are enlivened by individual front doors at 4 metre intervals.
The buildings have modest and intimate scale being mainly 2 storeys rising to 3 and 4 storeys at either end of the mews.
